Fellow HFFA Members & Guests,
The 51st annual HFFA show dates are Friday night February 5 and all day Saturday February 6, 2027. The show will be held at the Courtyard by Marriot in Ankeny, Iowa. Hotel address is 2405 SE Creekview Drive, Ankeny, Iowa 50021. Hotel phone number is 515-422-5555. They have a restaurant, bar, high speed wireless internet, indoor pool, fitness center, 24 hour market and Starbuck;s coffee.
Our nationally known guest speakers are Phil Rowley and Davy Wotton. There will also be several regional speakers covering all aspects of fly fishing.
We have a block of rooms reserved for both Friday and Saturday nights. This will be a fantastic annual meeting and I expect the block rooms to sell out very quickly so take a minute now to reserve your room(s) for show weekend. Room cost is $119/night plus local taxes and fees. The availability will end on January 14, 2027, however they may allow us more rooms if they are available. When making a reservation be sure to say it is for HFFA, as we get credit for each room reserved. We hope you will make your plans now to attend the show. Additional information will be on the website and in the December newsletter. If you have questions or donations please contact me at kcrosenow@gmail.com
Tight lines!
